Current Status

While it is clear that Dr. Nash currently holds the position of Senior Research Mathematician at Princeton, I wonder when he assumed that post.  (I'm doing a tribute speech in his honor for my speech class)

I also wonder what he is actually working on right now, and how much of his time is taken up by speaking engagements.  His web page lists his interests, but not current projects or commitments.

If anyone knows anything about these bits of info, please post.

Thanks,
John.

Did you look at his links on the Wikipedia Article? It does list on that site what he is currently working on. It even gives the number that you can reach him at. It go's to his office in Princeton.

I won't set my hopes up as high as meeting him, though that would be awesome, but I'd settle for a mailing adress.  What do you guys respect more about him:  The accomplishments (in math and science and stuff like that) or the way he overpowered his mental barriers?

I admire his ability to do complex math or his ability to do it in his head.

i think i respect them both equally. obviously you have to be incredibly strong willed to overcome a mental illness like schizophrenia and i definately respect him for that.
